About this role:

Join a team building and operating a complex, data‑driven backend in Python that processes data at scale. You'll own real features end‑to‑end — from data model and query through API to UI — and take on the analytical, performance, and data‑quality challenges that come with a system where correctness matters. A first‑job role for graduates who want to be stretched, own their work, and grow fast.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and ship features across a data‑driven Python backend, from database through API to frontend where needed.
• Write and tune SQL against large datasets for correctness and performance.
• Dig into data and system behavior analytically — reproduce issues, find the root cause, and fix them.
• Own the code you write: tests, correctness, and the data quality of the areas you work in.
• Contribute in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning, and take on more scope as you prove it out.

 

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduate).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid programming foundation with hands‑on Python experience.
• Strong SQL and data skills — confident querying and reasoning about relational data.
• Real interest in backend systems and performance.
• Strong team player with clear written and verbal communication.

 

Advantage (hands‑on):

Python, SQL, relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), REST APIs, React, TypeScript, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, data pipelines/ETL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB, Grafana, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

 

Soft Skills:

Analytical thinking, ownership mindset, clear communication, and drive to learn and grow quickly.
