We're looking for an independent, resourceful, hands-on Field Systems & Integration Engineer to join our Tel Aviv team and serve as the technical bridge between our R&D and our global customers. In this role, you'll lead live demos, field trials, and acceptance tests on-site with clients abroad, owning field readiness from start to finish.
We're a fast-growing subsidiary of Rayzone Group, building next-gen RF and tactical SIGINT technology that gives our customers real-time situational awareness when it matters most. Small team, big impact, global reach.
What You'll Do
- Field Trials & Demos: Lead the planning, setup, and execution of live field trials, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and customer acceptance tests (ATP).
- Assemble, integrate, and configure complex multidisciplinary systems (hardware, RF components, and software) in lab and field environments.
- Diagnose real-time operational issues in the field, using technical creativity, analytical thinking, and the tools at hand to find practical, effective solutions.
- Write and adapt lightweight scripts and tools (primarily in Python) for log collection, data parsing, and test workflow automation.
- Document field performance, analyze trial results, and provide actionable engineering feedback to development teams to drive continuous product enhancement.
- Collaborate with larger multi-disciplinary project teams on key deployments and milestone activities abroad.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in multidisciplinary system integration, testing, or field engineering.
- Solid understanding of RF principles, signal behavior, and wireless communications, with practical experience operating standard lab/field test gear (spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Practical coding/scripting knowledge (Python preferred) for log extraction, automation, and quick field adjustments.
- A proactive, "can-do" technical mindset with the ability to navigate unexpected technical scenarios and devise creative solutions with available resources.
- High-level spoken and written English for client-facing engagements and technical documentation. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel globally approx. up to 2 weeks total per quarter (each trip typically up to one week).
Advantages
- Hands-on knowledge of cellular networks and signals (GSM, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, or Software Defined Radio / SDR).
- Experience leveraging modern AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor) to accelerate scripting and daily workflows.
- Prior technical background from IDF technological units (Intelligence Corps, C4I, or specialized technical/SIGINT units).
Why Join Us?
- Best of Both Worlds: Experience the agility, speed, and close-knit culture of a fast-growing tech company, backed by the solid stability, resources, and proven ecosystem of the Rayzone Group.
- Cutting-Edge RF Technology: Work with proprietary, advanced RF and wireless systems at the forefront of the industry, supporting missions where reliability and precision truly make an impact.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take systems from R&D into the real world, representing our engineering excellence across the globe.
